This Appliance Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) is between Rent Something KC (“Company”) and the customer (“Customer”) for the rental of the appliance(s) listed in the delivery record.
1. Appliance Information
This Agreement applies to the appliance(s) listed in the delivery record, including brand, model, and serial number, which will be confirmed at delivery.
2. Rental Term
The rental is month-to-month unless otherwise stated.
Payments are due the same day each month, starting from the delivery date.
There is no long-term contract — the Customer may cancel at any time with notice and return of the appliance.
3. Payment & Fees
The Customer agrees to pay the monthly rental fee as specified.
Payments not received within 5 days of the due date a $10 late fee will be charged.
- If payment is not received within 30 days of the due date, we will immediately collect our units and cancel the rental agreement.
Repairs for damage caused by misuse or neglect will incur a $125 service fee.
If the appliance is deemed a total loss (cannot be repaired), or is lost or stolen, the Customer is responsible for a replacement fee of $400 per appliance, representing the value of a comparable used model in similar condition.
4. Delivery & Installation
Delivery and installation are included at no additional cost.
Appliances will be installed in a safe, accessible location provided by the Customer.
Removal of old appliances is available upon request and may be subject to a fee.
5. Service & Repairs
We provide all service and repairs for normal wear and tear at no cost to the Customer.
Service will be scheduled within 72 hours of a reported issue.
The appliance may not be altered, repaired, or modified by the Customer or a third party without written approval.
6. Customer Responsibilities
Use the appliance according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
Keep the appliance clean and in good condition.
Notify us promptly of any issues.
Do not move, resell, sublease, or modify the appliance without written consent.
7. Ownership
All rented appliances remain the property of Rent Something KC at all times. This is strictly a rental agreement and is not a rent-to-own contract. Customers do not gain any ownership rights regardless of rental duration.
8. Access for Repairs or Pickup
The Customer agrees to allow reasonable access to the appliance for service, repair, inspection, or pickup when the rental ends.
9. Utility Connections
The Customer is responsible for maintaining all utility connections (electricity, water, gas) required for proper operation of the appliance. Rent Something KC is not responsible for any interruptions, failures, or additional costs related to the Customer’s utility services.
10. Early Termination by Company
Rent Something KC reserves the right to end the rental and retrieve the appliance if payments are not made or if the Agreement terms are violated.
11. Liability Waiver
Rent Something KC assumes no liability under any circumstances. By renting or using our appliances, you agree that Rent Something KC is not responsible for — and expressly disclaims any responsibility for — all damages of any kind, whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special. This includes (but is not limited to) property damage, loss of use, loss of income, personal injury, fire, water damage, electrical issues, or any other harm that may occur. Your sole remedy is limited exclusively to the return, repair, or replacement of the rented appliance at Rent Something KC’s discretion.

By typing your name and checking the box below, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Agreement. You agree that your typed name will serve as your legally binding signature under the ESIGN Act.
This form begins the order process but does not lock you into the rental until installation day and payment is collected.
